Manchester United remain interested in bringing French duo Paul Pogba and Blaise Matuidi to Old Trafford this summer. ESPN is reporting Jose Mourinho wants to sign both players as he looks to rework the Red Devils’ midfield, despite the fact PSG’s Matuidi was initially thought to be an alternative to the signing of Pogba.

European Champions Real Madrid have rejected an opening bid from Chelsea for striker Alvaro Morata. According to the Daily Mail. the Spanish giants are holding out for a fee of around £64 million for the man who recently was brought back by the club, with both Arsenal and Manchester United also remaining interested.

In what could be a further blow for the Blues, Everton are looking to steal Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly from under their noses. Gazzetta World is linking the Merseysiders with a €45 million move for the Senegalese international as they look for a major signing under new manager Ronald Koeman.

As Pep Guardiola looks to beef up his Manchester City defence, he may turn to Torino fullback Bruno Peres as the first man to help add depth to his squad. The Daily Mail is linking the Sky Blues with a £17 million move for the 27-year-old Brazillian.

In more Manchester City news, midfielder Yaya Toure, who has long been linked with a move away since the appointment of Guardiola, may finally be on the way out. The Daily Star suggests the Ivorian has been offered £500,000 per week to jump ship to the Chinese Super League.

West Ham have rejected a £10 million approach from Lazio for Ecuadorian striker Enner Valencia, says the Express. Claims are that the Hammers want a fee of around £13 million before they agree to let the 26-year-old leave the club.

Italian champions Juventus are being linked with another Premier League winger and this time it is Manchester United’s Memphis Depay. The Express rumours that the Dutch international may be offered a way out of Old Trafford after an inconsistent first season at the club.

Midfielder Ashley Westwood could be offered a lifeline in the English top-flight, after suffering relegation with the Aston Villa last season. According to the Mirror, Burnley are interested in bringing the 26-year-old in on a deal worth up to £6 million, as they eye a replacement for Joey Barton who joined Rangers earlier in the window.

If either Everton, Tottenham or West Ham are to secure the services of Yannick Bolasie this summer they are set to pay a hefty price. The Daily Mail is reporting his current club Crystal Palace have slapped a £28 million price on their star winger.
