Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Georginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle United on a long-term deal. The 25-year-old Dutch international only joined the Magpies last summer, and will now link up with his new teammates on their pre-season tour of the United States.

Arsenal have announced their third signing of the summer signing 20-year-old defender Rob Holding from Bolton Wanderers. The youngster enjoyed a breakout season for Bolton last season making 30 appearances and winning the club’s Player of the Season award.

With rumours rift Manchester United are on the verge of signing Paul Pogba, it may not be their final midfield signing this summer according to El Confidencial. The report claims the Red Devils are considering a £54 million for Colombian and Real Madrid attacking midfielder James Rodriguez.

The Daily Mirror is reporting Manchester City are hoping to re-open negotiations over a transfer for English international John Stones. According to the report the Sky Blues would need to eclipse the £54.5 million fee which saw them sign Kevin De Bruyne from Wolfsburg last summer, if they are to bring the 22-year-old defender to the club.

Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly interested in bringing Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva to the club in coming weeks according to the Daily Mail. The 29-year-old who has made over 200 appearances since joining the club back in 2005 is also reportedly a target of the recently relegated Newcastle.

In more news from the red half of Merseyside, the Kop have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Leicester City youngster Ben Chilwell. Manager Claudio Ranieri has claimed the full back is close to signing a new contract with the Premier League champions according to the Leicester Mercury.

Everton refuse to stay out of the rumour mill right now and now the Toffees are being linked with a move for Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson. The Express is linking the club with a £25 million deal for the Finland international, who has established himself as arguably the most important player in the Swans’ lineup in recent seasons.

West Brom are in the market for more defensive depth this summer and the Mirror is linking the Baggies with a move for Brighton’s Lewis Dunk. The report claims that West Brom is not the only Premier League club interested in the player after Crystal Palace attempted to lure the defender to the club earlier this summer.

Watford are exploring the possibility of loaning Arsenal youngster Calum Chambers in for the upcoming season. The Watford Observer is reporting the Hornets want to bring in the versatile 21-year-old who failed to establish himself in the Gunners line-up last season.
