Former Newcastle Jets shot-stopper Mark Birighitti has joined Swansea City on a two-year deal, as announced by the Welsh club. The 25-year-old links up with the Swans after an impressive season in the A-League, which earned him selection in the competition’s Team of the Season.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in bringing Monaco fullback Fabinho to Old Trafford this summer, according to the Daily Mail. The French club are said to have agreed to allow the 22-year-old to leave, and Jose Mourinho is hoping to strike a deal for the Brazillian.

Diego Costa may not be on his way back to Atletico Madrid after all this transfer window, suggests the Evening Standard. Their claims are that the Spanish striker has not requested a move back to the Champions League runners-up, as had been reported earlier in the window.

Contradicting this though, Marca is reporting that new Blues manager Antonio Conte has been in daily contact with Alvaro Morata over a possible move to Stamford Bridge. If the former Juventus man is to arrive at the club it could spell the end of Costa, following the signing of Michy Batshuayi earlier this summer.

Everton is a side constantly appearing among the transfer headlines lately and the Mirror is now rumouring Ronald Koeman wants to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho. A £30 million bid is being prepared by the Toffees, for a player who has long been linked with a move away from the Portugal.

A Premier League bidding war is set to take place for Toulouse striker Wissam Ben Yedder according to the Guardian. West Ham United and Leicester City are both rumoured to be interested in signing the forward, who scored 17 goals in Ligue 1 last season.

Former Manchester City player Alvaro Negredo’s rumoured loan move to Middlesbrough has intensified, with the player failing to travel to Holland for Valencia’s pre-season. The 30-year-old is expected to be unveiled in the coming days after completing his medical, says Gazette Live.

Fluminense have confirmed the signing of Arsenal winger Wellington Silva, returning to the club he joined the Gunners from back in 2010. The Express is reporting the news after the Brazilian side announced the deal on their Twitter page.

Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer is keen to remain in Wales this summer, despite spending last season on loan at Leicester City. The South Wales Evening Post claims that the 28-year-old is fully focused on the challenge ahead in the English top-flight this season.
