Leicester City have squandered the chance to clinch the Premier League title at Old Trafford after managing a 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
Anthony Martial’s early goal was followed by a quick riposte from captain Wes Morgan. Both teams enjoyed spells of possession and territory thereafter, but neither could find the requisite quality to find a winning goal.
Claudio Ranieri’s men will be without Danny Drinkwater for Everton’s visit to the King Power Stadium after he was sent off with three minutes remaining.
The Foxes had a very rare off-day, but can still be crowned champions if Tottenham fail to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge tomorrow night.
Manchester United
David De Gea – 6: Probably should have come for Drinkwater’s cross, which Morgan converted. Solid otherwise.
Antonio Valencia – 6: Credited with the assist for Martial’s opener. Defended well enough, but slowed down too many of United’s attacks.
Chris Smalling – 8: Relatively faultless in dealing with Ulloa. Man-marked Huth particularly well during set-piece situations, too.
Daley Blind – 6: Good in possession but somewhat nervy in defence. Did well to deal with the threat of Grey in the final 20 minutes.
Marcos Rojo – 3: Caught out by the strength of Morgan at numerous set pieces, including the opening goal. Ineffective going forward.
Michael Carrick – 7: A calming influence who allowed his side to sustain pressure on Leicester. A lack of pace did not help the defensive side of his game.
Marouane Fellaini – 6: A busy performance early on, but wilted thereafter. Substituted on 75 minutes for Ander Herrera.
Wayne Rooney – 8: Again, solid in his modified midfield role. Displayed his wide range of passing throughout.
Jesse Lingard – 5: Perhaps should have doubled United’s lead on 13 minutes following Fellaini’s clever knock down. Ineffective thereafter – subbed on the hour mark for Juan Mata.
Anthony Martial – 8: His early goal set the tone for a bright opening for United. Always gave the Leicester defence issues to contend with.
Marcus Rashford – 5: Unable to run at defenders as he did so well against Everton. Substituted on 82 minutes for Memphis Depay.
Substitutes
Juan Mata – 7: Helped his side regain some quality and control in possession.
Ander Herrera – 6: In tandem with Mata, his careful distribution and ability to break quickly helped to pin the visitors back.
Memphis Depay – 6: Unlucky not to earn his side a penalty, but did get Drinkwater sent off to allow United to dominate the final stages.

Leicester City only need a Tottenham draw or loss on Monday to win the title. Incredible. So for the first time ever "Come on Chelsea!"

Leicester City
Kasper Schmeichel – 9: Displayed extremely quick thinking to charge out of his area on two occasions to deny the hosts 1v1 opportunities.
Danny Simpson – 4: Horrid first half. At fault for Martial’s opener by tracking Rashford needlessly. A misplaced pass nearly allowed Lingard in on goal.
Wes Morgan – 9: Scored a captain’s goal to level the scores on 17 minutes and improved along with his team after going behind.
Robert Huth – 8: Faultless defending against a barrage of early pressure.
Christian Fuchs – 7: Largely untroubled after a torrid opening.
N’golo Kante – 8: Had his hands full with Rooney dropping into deep areas but grew into the game to plug the space ahead of Morgan and Huth.
Danny Drinkwater – 5: Well-flighted delivery to assist Captain Morgan and otherwise, worked extremely hard off the ball to funnel United’s attacks out wide. Sent off on 87 minutes for a second bookable offence.
Jeff Schlupp – 6: Busy-ish outing. Had the chance to attack Antonio Valencia throughout but lacked quality. Substituted on 77 minutes for Marc Albrighton.
Riyad Mahrez – 6: Improved as the game went on. Threatened consistently throughout the second half. Substituted on 88 minutes for Andy King.
Shinji Okazaki – 6: Dogged off the ball and assured on it. Lacked the final touch of class, though. Substituted on 67 minutes for Demarai Grey.
Leonardo Ulloa – 6: Struggled without service. However, the target man did require opposition attention at all times.
Substitutes
Demarai Grey – 6: Positive in possession and gave Leicester a spark.
Marc Albrighton – 5: Forced into a lot of defensive work, particularly after Drinkwater’s sending off.
Andy King – N/A: Unable to make an impact with such little time afforded to him.
