Although having put his second season doubters to rest, the Tottenham youngster trails Aubameyang in nearly every key area.
Dortmund’s hitman has recorded 22 goals so far in 24 appearances, compared to 17 from Kane’s 29. This averages to a conversion rate of 24% and a goal every 95 minutes from Aubameyang, while the Englishman converts 15% of chances and hits the net every 150 minutes.
Kane does get the nod in terms of shots per game, accuracy and key passes, however, Aubameyang has played nearly 500 less minutes due to the Bundesliga’s holiday break.
For the faithful of both sides and the neutral alike – the meeting at Signal Iduna Park promises to be a firefight with these strikers on the pitch.
