The Wanderers are heading toward the A-League finals with no fear of any opposition, according to Dario Vidosic.

Speaking on today’s edition of the Daily Football Show ahead of this weekend’s blockbuster against Adelaide, the 28-year-old says Western Sydney are ready for all challenges.

“We’ve played against all these teams, we’ve beat them all…we’re definitely very, very confident.

“Nothing really changes for us…we want to win and we always want to play our style of football.

“It doesn’t matter if we play at home or if we play away, regardless of who we play this season we have done it our way,” said Vidosic.

“It’s a credit to us that teams that always have the highest amounts of possession, especially when they play at home, are dropping off and allowing us to have the ball.”

In a season where Australian talent being lured overseas has been a constant headline, Vidosic was able to provide some insight after returning to the A-League from a two year stint with FC Sion in the Swiss Super League.

“You become wiser I think, in a way,” said Vidosic of his experience in Europe.

“Football-wise it was good…there was a lot of good players, a lot of quality opposition where you play Basel, Young Boys, Grasshopper Zurich.

“I was just unfortunate to pick the worst run one [club] in Switzerland.”

At a club under a dictator-like president, the playmaker’s time with Sion was plagued by a constant switch in coaches and an injury that was poorly diagnosed by the medical staff.

“I had seven coaches in about a season-and-a-half…they are the sort of crazy things that not everyone will experience.”

Clearly warming back up to life in the A-League though, he could not resist taking a jab at teammate Scott Jamieson, after it was revealed the utility uses vaseline to style his hair.

“I saw it earlier in the week just before we played Newcastle…I had to do a double-take and look at what the physio was holding,” joked VIdosic.

“Maybe it’s something that works for him.”
