It was a drab home draw for Queens Park Rangers against Preston North end at Loftus Road overnight.

QPR were unable to break the deadlock on Neil Warnock’s first match back as Rangers interim manager. Preston had come into the match with five clean sheets in their last five games, and it was clear, that they had no intention of conceding.

Karl Henry – 6.5: Probably had one of his best games this season despite being played at right back.

Nedum Onouha – 6: Showed some real heart throughout the match. Took a harsh booking for protesting a dangerous tackle in the second half.

Grant Hall – 7: The young defender is maturing every match, and apart from a couple of loose clearances, he enjoy a good afternoon

Paul Konchesky – 6: His tendency to press forward created some good interplay with Hoilett.

Sandro – 6: Rasped a shot just wide around 25 minutes after a cheeky bit of skill created space.

Ale Faurlin – 6: Solid passing for most of the game but lacked some precision in the final third.

Matt Phillips – 4.5: There were several wayward balls from the winger and he was caught ball watching in defence.

Junior Hoilett – 6.5: Bursting with energy the left mid showed a real intent. Knocked one wide after a 1st half scramble in the goalmouth.

Leroy Fer – 5: Failed to make much of an impact with little enthusiasm shown from the Dutchmen.

Charlie Austin – 5.5: Was frustrated out of possession for most of the match. Dropped deep in the second half.

Substitutes
