German side FC Schalke are interested in signing Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, reports suggest.
The Chelsea centre-back has been out of action since February with an ACL injury, sustained in a clash against Manchester United.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Zouma could get some much needed match fitness under his belt in the Bundesliga with Die Knappen at the forefront of the chase for his signature on a season-long loan.

Zouma has been missed, with Chelsea desperately looking to restock their defensive stocks. Persistent rumours suggest the Blues are interested in Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
Chelsea have also made a bid a to sign Fiorentina and former Bolton Wanderers left-back Marcos Alonso, worth a reported fee of £17.5 million.
Any move would mean he will partner up with Branislav Ivanović, while Cesar Azpilicueta would line up in his preferred playing position.
