With the Chinese takeover completed, the new consortium has set Tottenham striker Harry Kane as the their trophy signing as reported by The Mirror.
The Premier League Golden Boot winner has been linked to A.C Milan, with Napoli also hot on his trail after losing Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus this past summer.
Spurs will likely demand in the excess of £75 million for their star striker and the fallen Serie A giants will have to do a lot to convince the 23-year-old to join the club, who are not involved in European football this campaign.
The Rossoneri are aggressively looking for reinforcements to try and enforce a swift return to the European stage, however, the new injection of cash may be the path best taken for Milan to ensure their passage is fast-tracked.
Kane is yet to find the net this term but after scoring 59 goals across all competitions in the last two seasons, he is one of Europe’s most in-demand strikers.
